Chemical Burn (Chem 91 X Purple Punch) Strain Details
Chemical Burn Description
Chemical Burn is the cross between the Indica-dominant hybrid Purple Punch and 50/50 hybrid Chem 91. This powerful hybrid combination makes for intense calming effects as well as being the perfect medicine for nausea, stress, and sleeplessness. Chemical Burn is the perfect marriage of hybrids that create an easy grow process for the grower who wants a heavy hitting Indica with Sativa benefits.
Chemical Burn Genetics
Purple Punch is the sweet and sedating union of two Indica-dominant classics. By breeding Larry OG with Granddaddy Purple, this fruity smelling purple beauty is considered a delicious dessert strain that is best suited for after dinner. The history of Chem 91 is a little elusive, but some growers believe Chem 91 is a cross between Chemdog and Skunk, which may explain its skunky smell. Regardless of this legend and rumors, this hybrid has a very strong diesel smell with a piney-lemon aftertaste. The two combined together make for a lemon-grape candy combination.
How to Grow Chemical Burn
Chemical Burn is known to yield large amounts. It’s very skunky and has an OG-Lemon undertone and grows similarly. Chemical Burn grows like an Indica, meaning it’s short and bushier – but it does have a tendency to grow larger outdoors if not trained or pruned properly. The flower time is pretty fast, but averages around 70 days.
Chemical Burn Details
Chemical Burn is known for being a very potent cerebral high unlike most Indica strains. This also means you’ll feel mentally tired a lot faster with this strain, which is great for those who struggle with insomnia and sleeplessness in general. This is a very relaxed, euphoric high that’s a great night cap for most consumers.
Medical Use & Benefits
Chemical burn treats chronic stress, depression, and muscle spasms as well as insomnia. It has also been known to treat nausea after large meals and help with appetite for those who have stomach issues.
This is a very sweet strain containing the flavors of Lemon, Grape, Candy, and Berry.
Limonene is the dominant terpene in Chemical Burn, making it very citrusy smelling.
I haven’t grown this hybrid before, but I grew chem dawg before and knew I had to try this strain. It had a relatively short harvest time and gave me great buds. I would definitely grow Chemical Burn again.
